The Tudumo Times

3.3.08

Happy birthday Tudumo!

1) This weekend, Tudumo hit 400 links on del.icio.us!
2) The 1.0 version is ready and
3) yesterday, Lynton Auld became the first person to change from "user" to "customer" by sending an order through for Tudumo.

So today is kinda Tudumo's birthday.  My birthday's on the 20th of March.  So you get a discount on Tudumo until then - $19.95 instead of $29.95 - approximately 33% off. (update - discount period finished!)

Note that this isn't "it" - I'll continue to provide regular updates, and there are a couple of things I'll do in the next two weeks.  I just wanted to get the show on the road and fix one or two things that needed an update now.

What benefits are there to paying for Tudumo other than good karma?

Karma's a great start :)

Same as with crackers - if you really don't want to pay then you'll find some way around it. I'm really aiming at the guys who don't mind paying a few bucks for an app they use every day.

I bought my copy and I hope lots of others do too.

Thank you Steve - much appreciated. It actually felt pretty unreal for orders to start coming in. A bit like the day that downloads first started.

I'll focus on making sure you get more than you paid for!

I'm a developer in a mid-sized company and I use Tudumo every day. The keyboard shortcuts make all the difference to me, and that is Tudumo's biggest selling point as far as I'm concerned. I can't recommend this tool enough.

Here's to all of you Tudumo addicts - get out of that closet and show your support :)

Thanks Laur :) They are supporting - orders pitch up in the inbox every so often!

I do understand the feeling of the guys who wished it were free. I had no idea of what was involved in creating a consumer-level desktop app. Now I buy a new application every month or so.

Example - Axialis IconWorkshop. If you write any software or web apps and want some control over icons, it's phenomenal how easily it'll give you something really good looking in a short while. I have *no* idea how much work that must have taken!

WHEN IS IPO

Richard said...

IPO? Um, possibly...I'm not sure how one builds an empire from a to-do list! And then you have another boss howling about keeping the stock price high and you have to buy an island to get some peace and quiet.

Oh man I missed Tudumo's birthday as well as discount. My birthday is three days after Tudumo's birthday.

I want to buy the software and is there any way that I can pay by PayPal? And also can this birthday boy get the discount too (trying my luck here) :)

I downloaded and thought it would be one of those GTD software that's always disappointed me but Tudumo is vastly simpler and easier to use. Love the UI, the only thing that's missing is repeat tasks.

Cheers,

Dipankar
